WHAT IS SPRING & LOCK?
A Spring & Lock roller shutter is a hand-operated manual control option that uses an integrated tensioned spring system to smoothly raise the slat curtain. The key lock secures the shutter simply and effectively when closed.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Spring & Lock shutters consist of 42mm insulated aluminium slats, reinforced locking slat, extruded aluminium tracks, and compact aluminium box.
How does it work?
The tensioned spring keeps the slat curtain in the raised position. It is then pulled down using the handle and secured by the integrated key lock. The lock bar extends into the guide tracks which are drilled out on installation.
1. Close fully
Pull the slat curtain down until it reaches the closed position at the bottom.
2. Lock
Turn the key to engage the lock, securing the shutter in place for added security and peace of mind.
3. Unlock & open
Unlock and lift the shutter. The internal spring assists the movement, allowing the shutter to rise smoothly and stay raised.
