The ready-to-install domestic roller shutter unit offers an economical solution for a range of applications, providing an added layer of security for homes, deterring intruders and ensuring privacy and peace of mind. The shutters are also designed to improve energy use, improving insulation and reducing heating costs in winter, as well as keeping rooms cooler in summer. When closed, the shutters reduce noise levels effectively.
The slats consist of high-quality aluminium sheet injected with polyurethane foam. The box sections and side tracks are also aluminium, while the two-layer paint coats (PU/PA system) give the shutters optimum protection against weather and abrasion.
The blinds are intended for retrofitting onto existing windows and doors, internally or externally. They are also ideal for closing off storage spaces, cupboards, bar areas, serving hatches and more. Installation is straightforward with the box unit slotting into the side tracks which are screw fixed to the installation surface, mounted either above and around the opening or in between the opening. The belt strap is attached to the driver box once the shutter is in place.
Control type: Manual – Strap Coiler
Belt drive control consists of a tensioned coiler box and strap. When the tension tab is released by pulling the strap upwards the shutter curtain can be lowered. When the strap is pulled downwards the shutter curtain is raised and held in place by the spring tension.
