These Order Terms apply to all orders placed with Domestic Roller Systems via our website, email, or telephone.
1. Made-to-Measure Products
1.1 All made to measure roller shutters supplied by Domestic Roller Systems are made to the customer’s specified dimensions and configurations.
1.2 Due to their bespoke nature, made-to-measure products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where faulty or not as ordered.
2. Measurements & Compatibility
2.1 Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all measurements, specifications, and site conditions are correct prior to placing an order.
2.2 We strongly recommend confirming suitability before ordering. Customers may contact us to request a sense-check of specifications prior to purchase; however, responsibility for final measurements remains with the customer.
3. Orders & Payment
3.1 Orders are confirmed once full payment has been received and the order has been accepted by Domestic Roller Systems.
3.2 For supply-and-fit orders, installation costs may be invoiced separately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Lead Times
4.1 All quoted or displayed lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
4.2 Our standard lead time is approximately four (4) weeks from order confirmation; however, delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, transport, customs, courier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4.3 Customers are strongly advised not to book installers or related trades until goods have been received and inspected.
5. Delivery & Inspection
5.1 Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.
5.2 Any damage, discrepancies, or visible defects must be reported in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt.
5.3 Claims reported outside this period may not be accepted.
5.4 Where possible, customers should retain all packaging until inspection is complete.
6. Risk & Title
6.1 Risk passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the delivery address.
6.2 Title remains with Domestic Roller Systems until full payment has been received.
6.3 This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in respect of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
7. Supply-Only Orders
7.1 For supply-only orders, Domestic Roller Systems is responsible solely for the supply of the product.
7.2 Installation, wiring, commissioning, and site conditions are the responsibility of the customer or their appointed installer.
8. Cancellations
8.1 Orders for made-to-measure products cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
8.2 Production may begin immediately following order acceptance.
8.3 Any cancellation requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.
9. Refunds & Credits
9.1 All refunds, credits, or goodwill gestures are issued at the discretion of the company.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Domestic Roller Systems’ liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
10.2 We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including installer or third-party costs.
